BIO

The Full Story

Soprano, graduated from the Vocal and Acting Department of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in Solo singing class of prof. Anna Radziejewska. Anna is also a graduate of Musicology at the University of Warsaw.

 

She currently works with he Polish Royal Opera, where performs such roles as Second Boy in The Magic Flute by W. A. Mozart, Angel-Rózia in Dziady-Widma by S. Moniuszko and in Scene Buffe, as a character of Selvaggia in A. Scarlatti's Dafni.

 

The Artist made her stage debut in 2014, playing the role of Małgorzata in Warsaw Children performance staged at the Copernicus Center in Chicago together with the Romuald Traugutt Philarmonic, with whom she also recorded a CD with songs of the Warsaw Uprising. For the second time in Chicago, she appeared as Hanna in The Haunted Manor of S. Moniuszko. She played the role of Barbara in The Wedding of Figaro W. A. Mozart on the stage of the Świętokrzyska Philharmonic and the Warsaw Chamber Opera. In the Chamber Opera Anna also played a role of Zerlina in Don Giovanni by W. A. Mozart. In the performance The Magic Flute - fragments staged at the Collegium Nobilium theater in Warsaw she played the role of Pamina. In the production of Il Trespolo tutore A. Stradella, which was the world premiere of this comic opera after 1679, she appeared in the role of Ciro. Anna performed this part at the Collegium Nobilium Theatre and the Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz. In the year of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Stanisław Moniuszko, she co-hosted a series of programs for children Uszko na Moniuszkę at the Grand Theatre - National Opera in Warsaw.
